Established in 2017, ATELIER SAAKA is a sustainable and eco-friendly concept, motivated by, a vision of excellence and preservation of the Nigerien ancestral weaving art of the Sakala.

 

ATELIER SAAKA is all about the traditional and technical know-how of weaving, dating back to the 15th century and which has its origins in Nubia. A very rich tradition of a thousand-year-old history, which infuses the passion and the meaning of this so precious art.
